College!au where Bokuto is really struggling with long distance; being so emotional I don’t think he’d cope well. But it’s okay, Kuroo picks him up when he needs it ^-^

Okay but listen, imagine that Akaashi has like the worst laugh. That obnoxious high pitched sort of hiccup laugh and even a snort and he hates it. People have told him it doesn’t match him at all so he became super self conscious about it. Except one day he’s hanging with Bokuto who does sometimes stupid (maybe a horrible pun or joke) and he can’t help himself, he’s bent over clutching his stomach laughing and laughing. Cheeks aching from how wide his smile and it isn’t until he can’t stop himself from snorting that he realizes Bokuto heard his stupid laugh. But when he straightens up, cheeks burning in embarrassment Bokuto is just staring at him with stars in his eyes.
